Privacy

Floorprint is built to keep your plans on your device.

Your plans

Plans, floor pictures and settings are saved in your browser (local storage and IndexedDB) on your device. They are not sent to us. If you clear your browser data they are lost, so save a backup file from the Plans menu now and then.

Sharing

A share link contains the plan itself in the part of the address after the # sign. Browsers do not send that part to servers, but anyone who has the link can read the plan, so share it only with people you trust. Files you save stay with you.

What the website collects

Our hosting provider (Cloudflare) processes ordinary technical data such as IP addresses and requested pages in order to deliver the site and protect it from abuse. If we use visitor statistics we will use a tool that does not use cookies and does not see your plans, and name it here.

Messages you send us

If you write to us, we use your email address and message to answer you and improve the product, and do not share them. Please do not send private details.

New features

If we add features that send data away (for example AI help or syncing between devices), they will be optional, and this page will explain what is sent before you can use them.

Who is responsible

Controller: Olli Rekola, a private person. Email: privacy@getfloorprint.com.

What we process

• Your plans: not processed by us; they stay on your device.
• Technical request data (IP address, page, time) at our hosting provider Cloudflare: to deliver the site and protect it from abuse. Legitimate interest. Kept as long as Cloudflare keeps its logs.
• Emails you send us: to answer you. Legitimate interest. Kept until the matter is closed, then deleted.

What we do not collect

No user accounts, no payment details, no advertising and no tracking cookies. The site sets no cookies of its own.

Your rights

You can ask for access to your data, for corrections or for deletion by email to privacy@getfloorprint.com. You can also complain to the Finnish Data Protection Ombudsman (Tietosuojavaltuutettu, tietosuoja.fi).
